This month-long series of events held every spring in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, heralds the seasonal arrival of blooms on dogwoods, azaleas, daffodils, and tulips. It includes pageants, parades, parties, garden tours, athletic events, fashion shows, and dances. A highlight is the presentation of the Vestavia Belles in antebellum dresses. These high school girls are selected to serve as city hostesses at various events.
