I also discovered that a narrow size worked best for women.[3] I don't think I will ever buy a regular Birkenstock again. I just hope this softness lasts for as long as the shoe does! My one CON would be that the shoe felt a smidge shorter than my original Arizonas do but I can live with that. Birkenstock Gizeh - I love these shoes! I have bad feet but these feel so great! Good arch support and the strap makes them feel very secure. Yay! (I'm usually a 9 in American shoes, but always a 39 in Birks, so I labeled these as larger than marked.)[3] Great sandal, great website! I ordered these late Monday night and they arrived first thing today, Wednesday! OK, but about the shoe. If you've owned Birks before, then I needn't explain how great these are for your feet, legs, and spine. Basically, they are great all around shoes for keeping your body in line.[3] All Birki's shoes and sandals are made in Germany using environmentally-friendly process and proven craftsmanship.[3] Not the cutest shoe, but is definitely my house shoe and walking sandal when not using running shoes.[3] When I saw the soft footbed of Arizonas and read some of the feedback, I decided to try it myself. I received them yesterday and in three words I LOVE THEM. The soft footbed is the crowning glory on a great shoe. It gives some padding to the foot as it supports them with the original construction.[3] Love them! I usually wear a 7 or 7 1/2, but found I needed a 37 not a 38 in these shoes (I can't remember if that's typical of Birks).[3] I love these shoes. They mold to your feet and WHAT COMFORT!!! I will wear them for a very long time.[3] This shoe was a dream to put on. I have been suffering from Morton's Neuroma in both feet, and these shoes are the only ones I've been able to wear that don't make the bottom of my feet feel bruised. They are super comfortable right out of the box (no break in time like the normal cork bed bottoms).[3] Great Summer Casual Wear - This shoe is pretty comfortable and cute. It's the type of shoe that you can throw on with just about anything (skirt, shorts, jeans).[3] I needed a supportive but cute shoe - something I could wear with skirts and pants.[3] My only complaint is that the top flaps of the thongs only clear my toes by a 1/2 - 3/4 inch. I can live with this, as the shoe is still really cute on. As always, Zappos return and shipping policies are very generous - both times I ordered this shoe I was upgraded to next-day shipping, when it didn't have to be.[3] WOW! Never paid that much for an orthotic, but decided it was worth it if it worked. I am extremely pleased with these shoe inserts. It has eased the pain tremendously. Now, I feel there is hope for this tendon to mend.[3] Wonderful! I bought these as a gift for my husband.
